Kisspeptin-10 is a ten-amino-acid peptide derived from the KISS1 protein.

It acts through kisspeptin receptors and is studied for its role in reproductive hormone signalling within the hypothalamic–pituitary–gonadal (HPG) axis.

Commonly researched areas of interest

  • Reproductive hormone signalling: Investigations into GnRH signalling and downstream luteinising hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) responses.

  • Hormone pulsatility: Research into LH pulse frequency and patterns of reproductive hormone release.

  • Reproductive physiology: Studies examining differences in hormone responses between males and females.

  • Fertility research: Exploration of kisspeptin pathways in reproductive function and fertility-related research.

  • Neuroendocrine signalling: Investigations into communication between the brain and reproductive endocrine system.

For research use only. Not for human consumption.
